this was a free e-book. if this was a book that I need to pay for; I would have passed this by.
There are a few of these Southern recipes that I would try, particularly the corn casserole and the green beans.
This collection of recipes are a good mix of tasty dishes that are perfect for Thanksgiving but could be a welcome treat for other enjoyable meals. Although there are no demonstration pictures, the descriptions and directions are clear. Good guide especially for this holiday season.
A very simple and easy read, this book has very easy to follow recipients for beginners as well as experience cooks. I loved the fact that there were some traditional recipients with anew take on how to make some of our favorite Thanksgiving recipients. I'm definitely trying some of these.
All original recipes. Good photos with every recipe. This is basically an ad for other blog sites.
Each recipe contains a blog site. Good marketing but a very short book. At least they suggest
using stock instead of broth but again don't give directions on how to make your own stock.
I especially liked the apple/pecan pie recipe.

I wouldn't call Southern Cooking for Thanksgiving cookbook indispensable, as stated in the Letter from the Editor inside this cookbook, but the cookbook does contain a nice selection of recipes. Some of the recipes you'll find include

*Heritage Chocolate Pecan Pie
I did like how the editors of this cookbook gave credit to the bloggers where some of the recipes were found. That was a nice touch.
